Founder, President and CEO

Ceres' President and CEO, Dr. Thomas Joudinaud, is a former cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon (MD) holding a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Montana. Over the past 14 years, he has served as a Pharma Strategy consultant, contributing to market assessments and development plans for products in rare diseases. Thomas has excelled in portfolio reviews, resource allocation for leading pharmaceutical companies, and the evaluation of business plans, price potential, and sales forecasts for products in development. His collaborative ventures include prestigious pharma consulting firms like The Boston Consulting Group and AEC Partners.

Thomas possesses an extensive business and investor network and additionally serves as a Board member at Osivax, a clinical-stage vaccine Biotech.

Founder, General Manager and COO

Henri Bénech is a former researcher specializing in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. He served as the founder and leader of a pharmacological platform providing advisory services to the pharmaceutical industry at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). In 2012, Henri transitioned into a business development role in Life Sciences at the CEA. He worked as a rapporteur at the French committee negotiating the prices of medicines (CEPS) for a period of five years gaining an expertise in medicines pricing.

Henri is a distinguished member of the French National Academy of Pharmacy and holds the position of co-founder and board member at Skymab Biotherapeutics.

Founder and Chief Scientific Advisor

Aloïse Mabondzo, PhD, Research director at CEA, expert in neuropharmacology, neuroinflammation and blood brain barrier physiopathology. After his PhD thesis in virology at the CEA (Life sciences Division), Aloïse started research in the field of experimental modeling of the human blood-brain barrier, precision medicine through the modeling of pathological brain organoids, translational research on metabolic and tumoral brain pathologies. He therefore created the Laboratory of neurovascular unity study and therapeutic innovation.

Aloïse is co-author of more than 70 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and also of 7 patents. He is the Scientific Director of Ceres Brain.

CMC Director

Xavier Salançon holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and brings extensive expertise in regulatory Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC). He has accumulated 20 years of experience, serving as the Director of Pharmaceutical Development at GlaxoWellcome in France and subsequently Europe in the field, among other, of inhaled medicines. Xavier has held positions in various pharmaceutical companies, including Laboratoires Fournier and Solvay Pharmaceuticals. Currently, he operates as a consultant through XMS Consulting, leveraging his wealth of knowledge in the field.

Dr. Jean-Louis Pinquier, a graduate in Medicine from Paris, holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and possesses extensive expertise in clinical development, particularly in the neurology domain, with a distinguished career spanning over 20 years at Sanofi. Following his tenure at Sanofi, Jean-Louis has taken on various roles as a consultant and advisor, providing his expertise to numerous pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, he has contributed his insights to Medicen, the competitiveness cluster in the Paris area, showcasing his continued commitment to advancing the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
